Nucleic acid extraction services

Reliable genomics data is derived from samples with high quality nucleic acids, be it RNA or DNA. Genotypic offers nucleic acid isolation services for all types of DNA and RNA from a variety of organisms and tissue types for both Microarray and NGS applications. Genotypic has experience of extracting RNA and DNA from several hundred different organisms and tissue types including prokaryotes, viral samples, lower eukaryotes, plants and animal species and metagenomes from a variety of samples like soil, water, sludge, fecal matter etc. We also offer mitochondrial DNA, chloroplast DNA and serum nucleic acids isolation services.

Integrity and purity of isolated nucleic acids are checked using Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer and Agilent Tape station and quantified using Nanodrop and Qubit fluorometer.

qPCR services:

Quantitative PCR or real-time PCR (SYBR or TaqMan based) are used for a wide range of applications that require accurate quantification of target RNA or DNA. qPCR provides superior sensitivity, dynamic range, and precision, while eliminating the need for post-PCR sample processing.
